Amir Gutic as a designer

I have always been interested in drawing and thats how in fact it all started.
On mavo I got to know someone called Bennie Vialle and we became this way best friends. We were both crazy about drawing and knew then we wanted to do something in that area later. This way we went to Sint Lucas... there we had a great time and have learned a lot. Although the largest part was selflearning and getting to know things themselves. We both did the same direction and obtained our diploma in 2004. I found it enough school for me and wanted to get a job to learn even more and choose my own way.

I had already some experience in the field of webdesign and found that in fact I had to learn a lot more in the field of DTP so that I can combine the two directions later possibly with still a third direction, as it happens to be multimedia. I have always been interested in all the three directions and want to do certainly something with all three.

Therefore after a long holiday I have started to work on my online portfolio.
Have also started with applying, firstly by means of employment agencies but that was nothing so I started to look for myself. I found a job opening by means of work.nl and applied.
I was selected and could start immediately. I still work there now and in my free time I spend a lot of time improving my port folio.
